Factions combat system

How do you want the pvp system in Factions?

  1. Keep it 1.10, keep the server updated

  2. Change it back to 1.8, I do like this system more

    Hello Hollandcrafters,

    I did get a lot of questions from people who are struggeling with the 1.10 combat system, they don't like it because of the cooldown you get everytime you attack. So I wanted to know what you guys want, keep it 1.10 or change it back to 1.8 (only the combat system). After 1 week I will make a decision by following the votes. It won't change immediatly because it need some work to change it but I will do it as fast as possible.
    Please vote at the poll above this topic, I won't count reactions as a vote, I will only watch to the poll.

    My question is, why only factions?
    *Edit* Also, if 1.8 PvP were to be implemented back, will this remove the use of both hands, and what about shields?

    well.. Server update to Minecraft 1.10 if we just use 1.8 on 1.10 Updated server meh.. Thats my opinion lol

    I think 2 handed will stay because it is only a plugin that removes the cool down timer that was implemented in 1.9. It won't downgrade the server to 1.8

    You're right, why only factions?
    Maybe also kit-PvP, Skywars and Hide-and-seek (it's a bit buggy now with the combat update, and ik takes ages to kill 1 block)

    I can't make any decisions over KitPvP because that isn't my server, AndrewRed is the one who owns it

    the combat system in 1.10 prevent kill aura so i think its better

    In my opinion there is nothing wrong with Skywars, Hide and Seek and Kitpvp being 1.10. I can understand that 1.8 pvp is more fun in factions battles (like 5vs5 with OP gear).
    The other gamemodes work just fine with 1.10 pvp, and changing it just because you don't want to practise 1.10 and some people like 1.8 better isn't a reason to change everything. The kits are also designed for 1.10 combat, and the battles don't have to take that long (because you don't have OP gear in those gamemodes).

    With the spam clicking gone. it is way harder to detect kill aura.

    So majority of the players left cause of the new combat system? Sounds like some people cant try new experiences.

    I agree, most people have been with Minecraft for a very long time. Changing 1 part of the game to be completely different is kinda hard to fit in to it. But to be honest. The new combat was not needed. Nobody asked for it.

    It's like Windows 10. Nobody asked for it, yet here it is.

    main function of killaura is super fasr spamming, crits and long range but in 1.10 spawmming will work but the damge it will make is so small even if it has crits

    No. The main function of kill aura is hitting a player/mob without targeting it

    The new kill aura, timely attacks the target after cool down without the hacker doing anything. therefore, powerful attacks. This can be mistaken for pro PvPers too however.

    *Edit* Since its a new form of killaura, it might be named to something else.

    It might be, but I still rarely doubt if I'm fighting a hacker in 1.10 or not, just like in 1.8. I don't think there is a big difference in difficulty of spotting hacks between 1.8 and 1.10.

    There's a lot of advantage of 1.10 pvp:
    -Heart Regen
    -Shield
    -Anti-Hacker
    -WaterProof
    -More strategic
    We could mixed the two version of pvp!

    !.8 would be nice on skywars and a lot of player will restart to play on it!

    What people want is the cool down removed, others are fine, 1.10 is not exactly Anti-Hacks however.

    Aim-Assist ( Somewhat like AimBot but only helps slightly)
    GhostAura (The untraceable Killaura, very concerning)
    AimBot (You know :3)
    BowAimbot (Yup You Already Know)
    Multi-Aura (Hits More Than 1 Player At A Time [Broken In 1.9])
    TPAura (THE MOST CONCERNING ONE)
    MobAura (Only Hits Mobs)
    Criticals (In It's Name)
    Reach (A Hack That Took A While To Return)

    A bunch of combat hacks, all similar yet different. And most of them, dodge the 1.8 to 1.9 Combat Mark.
