For the first time in years today, we are releasing a new Factions game mode! Here are some things you need to know:
How did we make this?
We assembled a team of both skilled server creators as well as skilled factions players and combined their feedback with the suggestions we gathered from our community and independent consultants to not only create a smooth playing experience, but to also offer the features the players actually want! It’s been months in the making and we can’t wait to see how you’ll enjoy it.
What version is this on?
It runs natively on 1.16.2 and supports all versions from 1.8 through 1.16. However, we took great care to offer 1.8 pvp, 1.8 style potions and 1.8 knockback. The only way you’ll notice it’s on 1.16 is by the gorgeous builds we made and of course the exciting new Nether.
Feedback and bugs
The entire game mode has extensively been tested, but of course, we may always have overlooked some things. Or, we may have added or omitted a feature that you would actually like to see. That’s fine! The first few weeks of release, Factions will actually be a public beta. That means that some changes can still be made to the gameplay based on the suggestions and feedback you provide! Be sure, therefore, to reach out to the Staff to let us know what you would like to see changed.
